Program Overview

The Haskayne–IHS CERA Energy Executive MBA is designed to accelerate the development of high-potential leaders working in energy and related service companies, government agencies, financial institutions and consultancies.

The Global Energy Executive MBA consists of five face-to-face thematic modules delivered in three-week blocks in key energy centers around the world over an 18-month period (for specific program topics click here). Participants enhance their knowledge and develop critical thinking, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills by engaging in a wide range of energy industry-related lectures, case study analyses, team projects, executive panel discussions, site visits, networking events and simulations. Participants also enhance their leadership capabilities by undertaking a series of personal development and people management exercises weaved in throughout the program.

In between modules, participants work on highly practical assignments that apply models and concepts taught in class to the workplace, thus enhancing the development of the participants and increasing the value returned to sponsoring companies.
